Venturing into the field of business ownership, Thomas Roche is no stranger to the hard work it takes to successfully run a company. Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs and small business owners, Thomas knew early on that he wanted to pursue a path that would one day lead to him owning a company.

As the owner/president of Drug Free Workplaces, Thomas manages the staff, daily operations, customer service, policies, and more. He also holds the responsibility of building upon and continuing the success of a company that has existed for more than three decades. He is working to achieve this by strategically planning for the future, setting short- and long-term goals, and welcoming input from his team.

Thomas spent much of his previous career working as a paramedic in the fast-paced and ever-changing, EMS industry. He also works as the vice president of JDNT Holdings, an investment company. Although vastly different in the daily tasks and responsibilities, Thomas uses the leadership and adaptability skills he obtained in his previous roles and applies them his roles as both a proprietor and manager.

Personal | Community

In addition to running a company, Thomas continues to serve his community in various capacities. He serves on the Ascension Sacred Heart Foundation Board and works as firefighter/paramedic for the Gulf Breeze Volunteer Fire Department.

As a lifelong resident of the Pensacola area, Thomas enjoys being on the water, especially boating and jet skiing. He also appreciates great cuisine and trying new foods and restaurants. Thomas got bit by the travel bug at a young age. He now enjoys traveling abroad and across the United States, but his number one travel destination and hobby is visiting Disney. Most importantly, he loves to spend time with and go on adventures with his son.
