After practicing medicine for more than 50 years, Dr. Weaver decided to explore a new opportunity at the request of a colleague and joined Drug Free Workplaces.
As the medical review officer, Dr. Weaver is responsible for reviewing and providing oversight on all testing-related procedures and results. He consistently reviews the positive drug screening results, contacts donors, and audits the overall process. Along with holding his MD and MPH, Dr. Weaver is a certified medical review officer.
Over the years, Dr. Weaver held board certifications in family medicine, occupational medicine, and aerospace medicine. After retiring from the Navy, he practiced urgent care and occupational medicine at a local clinic.

In addition to pursuing a career that he continues to be enthusiastic about, Dr. Weaver also enjoys other passions in his free time. He thoroughly enjoys traveling, bicycling, and photography.
